Attached to the brooch are beautiful prong-set rhinestones, 1 red Ruby (July), 1 deep red Garnet (January), 1 orange Citrine (November), 1 light blue Aquamarine (March), 1 dark blue Sapphire (September), 1 purple Amethyst (February), 1 green Peridot (May), and 4 clear Diamond (April) rhinestone crystals representing birthstones or clear fill-ins. The 'tree' part of the brooch has a 'tree bark' texture. On the back of the brooch is the hallmark, Van Dell Sterling. The brooch measures 2" X 1"
